Clinical Training/ Internship Opportunities
Do you have a deep interest in psychology, excellent work ethic and want experience in a vibrant private practice?
At Project Yes we offer practicum placement for Doctoral students and have opportunities for undergraduate student interns. We also offer employment positions for post-doctoral fellows to complete their hours and receive training. Interested students or trainees are encouraged to contact Dr. Tatyana Kholodkov of Project Yes PLLC.
Project Yes PLLC offers training to individuals, groups, and organizations on a variety of topics within our areas of expertise. These trainings can be customized and include didactic information and experiential exercises. Trainings are customized to fit your needs and audience, and can range from one hour or a workshop to a multi-day or retreat arrangement.
We start the process with a free 15 minute consultation call to discuss what you have in mind for the training, the target audience, and the timeline. We also discuss if one of our experts is a good fit for your training needs. If we decide to move forward together, Project Yes PLLC will send you a speaking engagement contract to be signed, and subsequently set up a longer phone consultation to determine the specifics. We also ask you for information to help tailor it to meet the objectives you have in mind, and together we brainstorm how to create the program you envision!
Topic areas in which we provide training include:
- Mind-Body Connection
- Burnout & Compassion Fatigue
- Creating Mindfulness in Your Day
- Healthy Thinking
- Validation & Communication Skills
- Dealing With Difficult Emotions
- Workplace Stress Reduction & Self-Care
- Understanding Clinical Issues for staff & loved ones (e.g., OCD, Traumatic Stress, Non-Suicidal Self-Injury, Chronic Health/Mental Health Co-Morbidities)
- Yoga, Breathwork (Pranayama) and Mindfulness Meditation
- Preparing for Death and Loss
If you are completing hours for licensure or in North Carolina are an LPA, you may be needing ongoing supervision hours. We can help.
We offer clinical consultation services to individuals (e.g., licensed mental health professionals) and organizations (e.g., non-profits, company leadership) on a variety of different topics. This could be a single-case consult or related to a specific concern/incident, a set of sessions, or an ongoing arrangement. The consultation can be about a specific clinical presentation, implementation of a particular methodology of treatment, or on a broad range of scenarios. We additionally provide administrative consultation, such as how to set up programs of interest you may have (e.g., how to organize a wellness day for your staff) or other programmatic support (e.g., how to assess skills gained by your staff).
Dr. Tatyana Kholodkov provides consultation services on starting a private practice. If you are uncertain if you can do it or what it may take, you will walk away feeling encouraged and knowledgeable!
Disaster Program Manager at American Red Cross
"Tatyana is an amazing disaster responder for the American Red Cross. From small-scale disasters like home fires to large-scale hurricane responses Tatyana exhibits care and comfort for our clients but also fellow volunteers and staff. Tatyana was also a supervisor of other home fire responder volunteers which required her to mentor others and supervise sometimes chaotic fire scenes. After a particularly difficult disaster season, Tatyana was asked to do a workshop for our Red Cross volunteers on compassion fatigue and building resilience. Her presentation was incredibly helpful for our volunteers and encouraged them to examine ways they can prioritize self-care to better care for others. Tatyana embodies the values of the American Red Cross showing compassion, commitment, and credibility in her work with us."
Associate Professor-Emeritus at Duke University Medical Centre
"I have worked with Tatyana for a number of years as a Disaster Mental Health volunteer and colleague engaged with disaster training. She is a compassionate, competent and effective listener who brings a holistic and mindful manner to her care of others."
